Wilde has been a commercial photographer for the past 27 years after completing his post-graduate diploma at Cardiff University's Centre of Journalism Studies. Since then he has worked across the corporate, editorial and voluntary sectors. Assignments range from magazine portraiture, corporate work, covering large scale conferences, roundtables. Wilde has also shot large charity branding campaigns.
He pursues personal work that has been published nationally and internationally. His stories have covered refugees in Meilla- Spain, Gulf War Syndrome sufferers and child boxers on the Thai/Myanmar border. This photo-essay was shortlisted for the UNICEF photo of the year award. Another passion is to capture the eccentric British whether it be Koi cap collectors or Serpentine swimmers braving the cold during the depths of winter.
